This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Conduct evaluations of credit and financial data for both prospective and current clients.
• Review and analyze business and personal financial documents, including statements, tax returns, cash flows, collateral evidence, and repayment sources related to new, renewed, and existing commercial loans.
• Independently assess intricate credit relationships and provide recommendations with little oversight.
• Create spreadsheets, credit approval documentation, credit proposals, financial summaries, and written assessments for loan decision-makers.
• Collaborate with lending teams to facilitate effective credit risk evaluations and portfolio management.
• Assist the Team Leader and act as a backup when necessary.
• Provide training, mentoring, and support for the development of new team members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, security protocols, and relevant government regulations.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required).
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Credit Analyst (Required).
• Strong proficiency in analyzing complex financial statements, tax returns, credit data, and cash flow performance.
• Extensive knowledge of credit investigations, collateral requirements, and commercial lending principles.
• Outstanding analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a solid grasp of accounting fundamentals.
• Capable of managing a high volume of work while ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and interruptions while consistently delivering quality outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism.
• Familiarity with federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to commercial lending.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and other business and lending software systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively and share knowledge through coaching and mentoring.
