This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create and design curriculum and training materials that support the workforce of the Navy’s Fleet and Family Support Program.

• Implement the ADDIE model alongside adult learning principles.

• Develop and deliver instructor-led training through Learning Management Systems, utilizing ISD principles and Adobe Connect tools.

• Comply with strict production timelines and achieve challenging deadlines.

• Design learner-focused instructional materials, incorporating advanced PowerPoint graphics and visual elements.

• Collaborate with team members, project managers, and clients through web-based tools.

• Conduct research and apply subject matter expertise related to Navy and Fleet and Family Support Programs and services.

• Produce content and maintain schedules for desk guides, curriculum initiatives, digital media products, and online professional training and technical support.

• Evaluate training needs and suggest effective learning solutions for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Work autonomously and innovatively to deliver high-quality outcomes.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Liberal Arts, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of two years of experience in instructional design and training delivery.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Navy and military family lifestyle issues.

• Thorough understanding of Fleet and Family Support Programs and services.

• Proficiency in curriculum development and/or instructional design utilizing the ADDIE model.

• Experience in creating instructor-led curriculum and e-learning products on demand using Articulate Storyline, Lectora, or Captivate.

• Proven track record in developing high-quality instructional materials, curriculum, instructional media, program management resources, and desk guides.

• Familiarity with online facilitation and learning platforms such as Adobe Connect, WebEx, or Zoom hosted on a Learning Management System.

• Exceptional writing skills for producing professional, publication-quality curriculum and training materials.

• Capability to manage competing priorities, strict production timelines, and tight deadlines.

• Ability to collaborate efficiently as part of a virtual team utilizing web-based tools.

• High proficiency with industry-standard software, including Microsoft Office.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment and government background checks, including FBI fingerprinting.

• Familiarity with Articulate/Storyline eLearning software is preferred.

• CPLP certification is preferred.
