SAP FICO Consultant – Revenue Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, test, and provide support for SAP FICO modules, emphasizing Revenue Accounting (e.g., RAR, SD-FI integration, billing, invoicing)

• Collect and analyze business requirements from finance and business users, converting them into functional specifications and SAP solutions

• Execute system configuration, establish master data, and create test scripts for SAP FICO functionalities associated with revenue accounting

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SD, MM, and Project Systems, to ensure smooth integration and effective end-to-end processes

• Offer expert-level support, troubleshooting, and resolution for SAP FICO issues, especially those affecting revenue recognition

• Create and present user training, documentation, and support materials for both new and existing SAP functionalities

• Engage in project planning, execution, and post-go-live support phases for SAP implementation and enhancement initiatives

• Keep updated on SAP best practices, new functionalities, and industry trends, particularly regarding revenue accounting standards like IFRS 15 and ASC 606

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of practical experience as an SAP FICO Consultant with a significant focus on Revenue Accounting

• Demonstrated expertise in SAP FICO configuration, covering General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), and particularly Revenue Recognition (RAR)

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, and revenue recognition standards (IFRS 15/ASC 606)

• Experience with SAP SD-FI integration for order-to-cash processes, including billing and invoicing

• Capability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into efficient SAP solutions

• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all organizational levels

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• SAP certification in FICO or relevant modules is an advantage
