SAP Developer, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business needs and transform them into technical design solutions that adhere to E.ON's development and architectural standards.

• Create, develop, and improve SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications tailored for Meter2Cash business processes.

• Integrate SAP backend systems utilizing OData services and standardized interfaces.

• Build front-end components, user interfaces, and application logic with JavaScript and SAPUI5.

• Assist in the design of OData services and work alongside backend developers in data modeling and service provisioning.

• Review existing applications for bug fixes, performance enhancements, and technical upgrades.

• Engage in code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards and quality benchmarks.

• Aid in the implementation and enhancement of CI/CD processes for automated application deployment.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and development teams regarding requirements, prioritization, and delivery timelines.

• Document technical developments and solution concepts, providing deliverables to E.ON.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive SAP development experience at a senior level.

• Proficient in SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori development, Level 5.

• Advanced JavaScript development skills using modern standards/ES6+, Level 5.

• Strong understanding of SAP architecture and data models, Level 4.

• Experience in OData services and interface development, Level 4.

• Familiarity with Git and version control systems, Level 4.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, Level 4.

• Proficient in technical solution design and architecture, Level 4.

• Foundational knowledge of ABAP and CDS views, Level 3.

• Experience with SAP S/4 Utilities, SAP MaCo Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA, OData Services, and other SAP data sources.

• Background in agile project environments, including Scrum/Kanban.

• Excellent skills in communication, teamwork, analytical thinking, problem-solving, ownership, accountability, and quality focus.

• Proficiency in both German and English.

• Familiarity with Python development and automation, knowledge of SAP BTP, web application performance optimization, and software quality assurance is a plus.
