SAP Basis and HANA Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee SAP application environments and HANA databases throughout development, testing, and production phases.

• Monitor system health, database performance, background tasks, capacity, and operational alerts.

• Plan and implement approved installations, patches, upgrades, system refreshes, and transport activities.

• Manage backup and recovery processes and take part in disaster recovery drills.

• Collaborate with security personnel to coordinate access administration, certificate upkeep, hardening, and remediation.

• Analyze incidents, conduct root cause investigations, and maintain configuration records and operational procedures.

• Ensure reliable SAP environments for federal clients.

• Support controlled system changes and collaborate with technical teams to maintain performance, availability, and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Minimum of five years of experience in the SAP platform.

• At least 20 years of relevant professional experience.

• Experience in supporting federal government programs.

• Expertise in SAP Basis administration, HANA database operations, transport management, and troubleshooting.

• Background in backup and recovery, performance analysis, operating systems, and controlled maintenance.

• Eligibility for Secret Clearance (preferred qualification).
