AWS Cloud Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Construct and oversee AWS infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code, focusing primarily on AWS CloudFormation templates.

• Implement, configure, and sustain AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and associated cloud services.

• Create reusable and automated cloud infrastructure templates for various application environments.

• Provide support for containerized applications running on Amazon ECS and Amazon EKS.

• Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions along with cloud automation scripts.

• Streamline deployments, configuration adjustments, and operational tasks by using Python, Bash, AWS CLI, and/or PowerShell.

• Diagnose issues related to cloud infrastructure, application deployment, IAM, containers, and automation.

• Apply AWS security best practices, including IAM roles/policies, logging, monitoring, and configuration standards.

• Collaborate closely with application, DevOps, security, and development teams to enhance cloud-based applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active Top Secret clearance is mandatory.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Administration, or a related discipline.

• Over 6 years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure or DevOps.

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation and Infrastructure as Code.

• Proficient experience with Amazon ECS and EKS.

• Background in developing and supporting AWS Lambda functions.

• Strong comprehension of IAM roles, policies, permissions, and AWS security mechanisms.

• Proficient in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.

• Experience utilizing AWS CLI, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Skillful in troubleshooting AWS deployments, containers, CloudFormation stacks, and application infrastructure.

• Familiarity with Terraform is advantageous.

• Preferred experience in secure or DoD cloud environments.

• CompTIA Security+ or AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is required.
