SAP ABAP Technical Developer – WM/IM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement SAP solutions utilizing ABAP and the RESTful Application Programming (RAP) model.

• Establish and manage OData services, business objects, and CDS (Core Data Services) views in accordance with Clean Core principles.

• Work collaboratively with functional consultants and business stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Design and maintain SAP S/4HANA applications, utilizing HANA-optimized data models and best practices for performance.

• Engage in code reviews and help establish technical standards and best practices.

• Diagnose, debug, and resolve application issues in both development and production settings.

• Assist in the documentation of technical designs, development artifacts, and system configurations.

• Facilitate integration efforts with third-party and internal systems through APIs and middleware platforms.

• Create WM solutions that incorporate RF, MFS/ASRS/VLM, PPF, EWM-TM integration, EWM monitor/exceptions, and EWM Fiori extensions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with ABAP programming, including object-oriented ABAP (ABAP OO), enhancements, BAdIs, and user exits.

• Strong background in building managed and unmanaged RAP business objects, comprising CDS views, behavior definitions, and OData V4 services.

• Proven understanding and application of SAP Clean Core principles, including side-by-side extensibility and the avoidance of core modifications.

• Practical experience in developing on SAP S/4HANA.

• Knowledge of HANA-native development, including CDS, AMDP, and HANA views.

• Must be a U.S. citizen due to potential access to export-controlled information or facilities governed by ITAR/EAR regulations.

• Experience with Web Dynpro for ABAP is preferred.
