SAP ABAP, OData, CDS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and execute SAP ABAP solutions utilizing the latest ABAP 7.4+ coding standards.

• Engage extensively in S/4HANA ABAP development and OData services.

• Design, develop, and implement OData services using the SAP NetWeaver Gateway.

• Comprehend business needs and convert them into technical solutions and specifications.

• Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDD) and Unit Test documentation.

• Develop Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.

• Work on ALV/Classical Reports, BAPI, ALE/IDOC, BADI, User Exits, Enhancement Spots, LSMW/BDC.

• Participate in implementation, integration testing, unit testing, and production support activities.

• Troubleshoot incidents while ensuring compliance with SLAs and ITIL processes.

• Regularly interact with onsite teams and clients to provide updates on project status.

• Review deliverables to guarantee quality, accuracy, and adherence to project standards.

• Mentor junior team members and engage in knowledge-sharing and COE initiatives.

• Identify risks, manage escalations, and contribute to initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Lead technical discussions and collaborate directly with clients as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in SAP ABAP with multiple implementation/support projects.

• Strong hands-on expertise in S/4HANA and OData.

• In-depth knowledge of ABAP 7.4+ and Object-Oriented ABAP.

• Good experience with SAP NetWeaver Gateway and the creation/implementation of OData services.

• Practical experience with Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Workflows.

• Mandatory experience in at least one SAP implementation.

• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing abilities.

• Experience collaborating with onsite/client teams and leading technical workstreams.
