Senior SAP HCM PY Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Ensure the stability, ongoing enhancement, and legal compliance of the Payroll system within the SAP ECC framework.

• Comprehend business needs and deliver technical implementation along with specialized support.

• Manage intricate tickets, enhancements, rollouts, and new SAP HCM PY implementations.

• Sustain and enhance the stability and performance of the SAP HCM PY module.

• Create and maintain intricate Payroll Calculation Rules (PCRs) and payroll schemas.

• Modify the system in accordance with collective bargaining agreements and the organization’s internal policies.

• Guarantee adherence to Brazilian labor laws, legal updates, and additional reporting requirements.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and submit eSocial events.

• Convert Human Resources and Payroll/Personnel Administration needs into comprehensive functional and technical specifications.

• Ensure the provision of efficient and scalable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated success as an SAP HCM Consultant, showcasing expertise in the PY submodule (Payroll – Brazil localization).

• Thorough understanding of schema configuration, Payroll Calculation Rules, average earnings calculations, child support, vacation, termination, and 13th-month salary processing.

• Strong familiarity with the Personnel Administration (PA), Time Management (PT), and Benefits (BN) submodules.

• Prior experience with large organizations, ideally within the industrial, metallurgical, or steel sectors.

• Experience in processing high-volume payrolls and managing a variety of union rules.

• Practical experience with the eSocial architecture in SAP, including inconsistency resolution and messaging.

• Knowledge of ABAP programming for HCM, including code interpretation, debugging, and familiarity with Logical Databases (preferred).

• Understanding of or experience with the transition to/coexistence with SAP S/4HANA (H4S4 / Private Cloud Edition) (preferred).

• Official SAP HCM certification (preferred).
