SAP FICO Consultant – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Offer assistance and promote ongoing enhancement for the SAP FI and CO modules.

• Evaluate requirements, collect business needs, and create functional solutions.

• Engage in SAP FICO implementation, rollout, improvements, and/or migration initiatives.

• Customize and configure FI and CO module functionalities to meet business specifications.

• Analyze and address intricate incidents and issues, identifying root causes and suggesting remedies.

• Develop functional specifications and collaborate closely with technical teams during the development and implementation of solutions.

• Conduct unit and integration testing, and support business teams throughout testing and user acceptance processes.

• Facilitate the integration of SAP FICO with other modules and enterprise systems.

• Aid in documenting processes, configurations, and solutions that have been implemented.

• Work in partnership with business units, IT teams, vendors, and international stakeholders.

• Attend meetings and alignment sessions in English with global teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, focusing on the FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules.

• Background in configuring and customizing the SAP FI and CO modules.

• Experience with SAP implementation, rollout, enhancements, and/or support projects.

• Familiarity with essential financial and accounting processes integrated with SAP.

• Proven experience in analyzing and resolving complex incidents and challenges.

• Understanding of SAP FICO integration with other modules, such as MM, SD, and/or PP.

• Skill in gathering requirements and effectively interacting with business departments.

• Advanced proficiency in English, capable of participating in meetings, presentations, and technical discussions with global teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.

• Preferred: experience with SAP projects in global or multinational contexts.

• Preferred: familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance.

• Preferred: experience with SAP transformation projects or migrations from SAP ECC to S/4HANA.

• Preferred: knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.

• Preferred: SAP FICO or S/4HANA certification.

• Preferred: experience with financial closing processes, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, cost centers, profit centers, and controlling.
