Senior SAP HCM Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Support and enhance SAP HCM PY, ensuring system stability, performance, and availability.

• Address complex tickets, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions and improvements.

• Engage in rollouts, enhancement projects, and new SAP HCM implementations.

• Maintain and develop intricate payroll calculation rules (PCRs) and schemas.

• Configure and adjust the system according to collective bargaining agreements, internal policies, and specific business needs.

• Ensure SAP compliance with Brazilian labor laws by monitoring legal updates and payroll-related obligations.

• Collaborate with eSocial, including maintenance, resolving inconsistencies, correcting errors, and monitoring event submissions.

• Partner with Human Resources and Payroll departments to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

• Assess scenarios, propose efficient and scalable solutions, and assist in technical decision-making.

• Work cooperatively with other modules in the SAP HCM ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as an SAP HCM Consultant, with demonstrated expertise in the PY module—Payroll, Brazil Localization.

• Advanced understanding of schema and PCR configuration.

• Proficient in payroll processes, including averages, alimony, vacation, termination, 13th salary, statutory charges, and other payroll-related routines.

• Knowledge of Brazilian labor legislation as it pertains to SAP HCM.

• Practical experience with eSocial in SAP, encompassing messaging, resolving inconsistencies, and monitoring events.

• Familiarity with SAP HCM submodules PA (Personnel Administration), PT (Time Management), and BN (Benefits).

• Experience in large organizations, preferably within the industrial, metallurgical, or steel sectors.

• Background in high-volume payroll processing environments and multiple union rules.

• Capability to provide consultative support to various business areas.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
