SAP ABAP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and conduct unit testing for SAP RICEFW deliverables within a complex enterprise environment.

• Create custom reports, interfaces, data conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, CDS views, OData services, and RAP-based applications.

• Convert functional requirements into robust and scalable solutions.

• Support the entire development lifecycle, encompassing coding, unit testing, technical documentation, transport materials, defect resolution, SIT/UAT, cutover smoke testing, production issue triage, and knowledge transfer.

• Build and enhance RICEFW objects.

• Develop CDS views, OData services, and RAP artifacts.

• Perform unit testing and present comprehensive evidence packages.

• Create and maintain technical specifications, documentation, and transport notes.

• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance for custom developments.

• Assist in SIT/UAT testing cycles with prompt defect resolution.

• Engage in cutover smoke testing and support production triage efforts.

• Provide knowledge transfer and support materials for ongoing operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP ABAP and ABAP OO.

• Practical experience in CDS, OData, and RAP development.

• Strong understanding of SAP IS-U processes, tables, and integration touchpoints.

• Capability to debug complex issues and enhance custom code performance.

• Experience in supporting conversions, integrations, and cross-system development activities.

• U.S. Citizen (dual citizenship accepted).

• Must be eligible to obtain government clearance.

• Work authorization that currently does not, and will not in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment authorization in the United States.

• SAP ABAP or SAP development certification (preferred).

• Familiarity with SAP forms technologies (SmartForms, Adobe Forms) (preferred).
