SAP ABAB Developer – A&D

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and implement SAP solutions utilizing ABAP and the RESTful Application Programming (RAP) model.

• Develop and sustain OData services, business objects, and CDS (Core Data Services) views adhering to Clean Core principles.

• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Develop and support SAP S/4HANA applications, applying HANA-optimized data models and performance best practices.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to the establishment of technical standards and best practices.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in both development and production environments.

• Assist in documenting technical designs, development artifacts, and system configurations.

• Facilitate integration efforts with third-party and internal systems through APIs and middleware platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with ABAP programming, including object-oriented ABAP (ABAP OO), enhancements, BAdIs, and user exits.

• Strong experience in constructing both managed and unmanaged RAP business objects, encompassing CDS views, behavior definitions, and OData V4 services.

• Proven understanding and application of SAP Clean Core principles, including side-by-side extensibility and minimizing core modifications.

• Practical experience in developing on SAP S/4HANA, along with familiarity with HANA-native development (CDS, AMDP, HANA views).

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• The position may necessitate access to export-controlled information or facilities subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
