Salesforce Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee comprehensive Salesforce solution architecture that aligns with business goals, platform standards, and security/compliance obligations.

• Facilitate client-facing discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and design discussions.

• Convert requirements into both functional and technical designs.

• Manage solution documentation, which includes design documents, architecture diagrams, data flows, integration specifications, and decisions regarding configuration/workflow.

• Establish and evaluate Salesforce data models, security frameworks, automation strategies, and programmatic methodologies.

• Architect capabilities for Service Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud, and Health Cloud.

• Define integration architecture for Salesforce and external systems using APIs and event-driven methodologies.

• Collaborate with MuleSoft and integration teams on API-led connectivity, handling errors, retries, monitoring, and oversight of architectural integrity.

• Assist in presales solutioning and scoping, encompassing estimates, delivery strategies, assumptions, risks, and implementation roadmaps.

• Provide technical leadership to both onshore and offshore delivery teams through design evaluations, build guidance, and quality assurance gates.

• Address the needs of regulated life sciences delivery, including validation readiness, audit capabilities, change management, and release governance.

• Lead environment strategy, CI/CD governance, and ensure deployment readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience with the Salesforce platform.

• More than 3 years in a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Architecture position.

• In-depth hands-on experience with Salesforce data modeling, security architecture, and Flow automation.

• Proficient knowledge of Apex and Lightning Web Components to make design trade-offs and provide guidance to developers.

• Proven experience delivering solutions across various Salesforce clouds, including Service Cloud and at least one Life Sciences Cloud or Health Cloud.

• Extensive experience in designing API and event-driven integrations while collaborating with MuleSoft or similar middleware teams.

• Experience in creating and maintaining solution documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in supporting Agile delivery teams throughout the requirements, build, testing, and release phases.

• Exceptional client-facing facilitation, written communication, executive storytelling, and ambiguity management skills.

• Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification.

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification.

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II certification.

• Background in life sciences or healthcare domains.

• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud.

• Familiarity with MuleSoft and/or MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 credential.

• Experience with Veeva and/or IQVIA OCE ecosystems.

• Exposure to GxP-regulated or validated environments.

• Additional Salesforce certifications are optional: Integration Architecture Designer, Identity and Access Management Designer, Data Architecture and Management Designer, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect.
