Junior Salesforce Developer – Public Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain Salesforce applications utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.

• Collaborate with senior developers and architects on the design of solutions.

• Incorporate a public health perspective into technical discussions and design choices.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

• Produce clean, well-documented, and testable code in accordance with team standards.

• Acquire and implement Salesforce best practices through code reviews and mentorship.

• Convert public health requirements into technical solutions.

• Participate in quarterly Program Increment planning, bi-weekly sprints, backlog refinement, pair programming, and team problem-solving sessions.

• Contribute to the PH360 platform and client implementations.

• Proactively ask questions, seek feedback, and strive for continuous improvement in technical skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of practical experience in Salesforce development or administration.

• At least 1 year of experience working for a governmental public health agency (local, state, federal, or tribal).

• Salesforce Administrator certification is mandatory.

• Platform Developer I certification is preferred, or a willingness to obtain it within 6 months.

• Practical experience with the Salesforce platform.

• Basic knowledge of Apex, SOQL, or similar programming languages.

• Familiarity with Salesforce declarative tools, including Flow, Process Builder, and validation rules.

• Understanding of relational databases and data modeling principles.

• Exposure to version control systems such as Git, or a willingness to learn.

• Proven ability to quickly grasp new technologies.

• Strong collaboration and communication abilities.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
