Salesforce Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the Salesforce product vision, roadmap, and release schedules.

• Advocate for, educate on, and showcase Salesforce best practices.

• Instill confidence in stakeholders while minimizing noise and conflict.

• Make decisive choices regarding priorities and articulate the product vision to C-level and SVP stakeholders.

• Establish steering and working groups to collect and manage business requirements.

• Set clear expectations and resolve conflicts with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Serve as the primary contact for Salesforce inquiries and decisions.

• Deliver C-level updates, metrics, and progress reports related to the vision and strategy.

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and ROI.

• Convert business requirements into precise user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Engage in Agile activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews.

• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions and support.

• Promote a user-centric approach to Salesforce design and functionality.

• Drive platform adoption and foster continuous improvement.

• Collect feedback and analytical data to optimize solutions and showcase ROI.

• Support training and enablement initiatives.

• Ensure solutions comply with Salesforce best practices, security, and governance standards.

• Validate completed features against acceptance criteria.

• Manage risks, dependencies, and technical debt.

• Maintain documentation for processes and solutions.

• Oversee the core vendor relationship with Salesforce and associated systems.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience as a Product Owner or Consultant within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Over 5 years of experience managing product backlogs and delivering digital products.

• More than 5 years of experience in executing large-scale Salesforce deployments, instance overhauls, and/or critical integrations.

• A commercial mindset focused on value delivery and ROI.

• Proficiency with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud.

• Strong practical knowledge of Salesforce configuration, including flows, objects, and validation rules.

• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Product Owner, or Platform App Builder are highly desirable.

• Strategic thinker with a strong focus on execution.

• Collaborative and influential at all organizational levels.

• Customer-centric approach.

• Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable deliverables.

• In-depth understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Familiarity with additional Salesforce products such as Marketing Cloud and Experience Cloud is a plus.

• Experience in deploying and deriving value from Data 360 and Agentforce is advantageous.

• Experience working with distributed or offshore teams is a plus.

• People management experience is preferred but not essential.
