Salesforce Field Service Consultant / Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Set up and tailor Service Resource profiles, Skills, Operating Hours, Service Territories, and Work Order hierarchies.

• Enhance the Dispatcher Console by utilizing Scheduling Policies, Routing Rules, Service Objectives, and Work Rules.

• Create and implement configurations for the Salesforce Field Service Mobile App, which includes offline layouts, quick actions, and automated flows.

• Develop Apex triggers, batch classes, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) tailored for unique scheduling logic.

• Set up inventory tracking modules that encompass product requests, transfers, stock locations, and return orders.

• Work collaboratively with operations and dispatch teams to minimize travel time, boost first-time fix rates, and automate preventive maintenance schedules.

• Assist in comprehensive testing processes, including mobile offline simulations, validation of optimization runs, and production deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of fundamental Salesforce development and configuration experience.

• Over 3 years of experience implementing and customizing Salesforce Field Service (previously known as FSL).

• Salesforce Certified Field Service Consultant certification is mandatory.

• Strong expertise in configuring SFS scheduling optimization engine.

• Proficient in declarative Salesforce features, such as Flows.

• Experience with Apex scripting.

• Thorough understanding of field operations, asset management, preventative maintenance lifecycles, and mobile synchronization behaviors.

• Preferred: Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification.

• Preferred: Previous consulting experience managing global field operations with intricate shifts, multi-level resource skills, and high-volume dispatch requirements.
