This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.
• Take ownership of the design, development, and implementation of intricate Salesforce solutions that drive Tenable's go-to-market strategy.
• Create and develop Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and custom metadata.
• Oversee the complete development lifecycle from analyzing requirements and designing technical solutions to conducting code reviews, testing, and deployment to production.
• Set coding standards, establish test coverage requirements, and promote architectural best practices.
• Lead technical design evaluations and act as a technical authority within the Business Technology Salesforce team.
• Construct and sustain Salesforce Data Cloud data streams, data model objects, calculated insights, and activation targets.
• Develop and configure Agentforce agents, Einstein AI functionalities, and prompt templates.
• Connect Salesforce with external data lakes such as Databricks using SQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and MuleSoft or direct connectors.
• Compose and refine SQL queries for data validation, exploration, and debugging of data pipelines.
• Manage deployments across scratch orgs, sandboxes, and production environments utilizing Salesforce DX, SFDX CLI, and source-driven workflows.
• Create and oversee CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, static analysis, and deployment gatekeeping.
• Advocate for Git branching, pull request evaluations, and release management practices.
• Script and automate routine tasks using shell, Python, or Node.js.
• Design and establish integrations with NetSuite, Workday, Clari, Certinia, and MuleSoft.
• Assess platform architecture choices for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Ensure data integrity, awareness of governor limits, and adherence to security best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and business analysts to convert requirements into technical specifications.
• Conduct code reviews and offer educational feedback to developers and administrators.
• Maintain technical documentation for architecture, integrations, and deployment procedures.
• Mentor colleagues and establish development standards.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

• A minimum of 5 years of practical Salesforce development experience in an enterprise setting.
• Advanced proficiency in Apex, including asynchronous patterns, governor limits, and test-driven development.
• Advanced proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Strong familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360, including data streams, DMOs, identity resolution, segments, and activations.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce CLI (SFDX), source-driven development, and deployments across multiple sandbox environments to production.
• Practical experience in building or maintaining Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, Gearset, Copado, or similar.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with data lake platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar.
• Comfort in operating within a terminal/CLI environment and independently reading, writing, and debugging shell commands and scripts.
• Familiarity with Agentforce, Einstein AI features, or prompt-based automation in Salesforce.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate design discussions.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
• Ideally: Experience with MuleSoft, REST/SOAP API integration design, and event-driven architecture.
• Ideally: Knowledge of integrations with NetSuite, Workday, Clari, or Certinia.
• Ideally: Experience with Salesforce CPQ or Revenue Cloud.
• Ideally: Active Salesforce certifications including Platform Developer I & II, Data Cloud Consultant, Application Architect, or Agentforce Specialist.
