Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, test, and provide support for Salesforce solutions.

• Facilitate quoting, contracting, billing integrations, service operations, and scalable business processes.

• Tailor and enhance CPQ processes as well as Quote-to-Cash workflows.

• Develop Salesforce solutions based on both functional and technical requirements.

• Utilize conversational AI-assisted workflows to create, refine, test, debug, and elucidate Apex, Flow logic, LWC, integrations, APIs, and prototypes.

• Uphold code quality, security, testing standards, and best practices for the Salesforce platform.

• Implement and configure Salesforce Core solutions across Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

• Design and configure Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, triggers, custom objects, validation rules, approval processes, permissions, reports, and dashboards.

• Support Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP integrations, platform events, batch Apex, scheduled Apex, queueable Apex, and data synchronization.

• Oversee version control, CI/CD, Salesforce DX, sandbox management, metadata deployments, and release management.

• Diagnose production issues and enhance performance.

• Collaborate with architects, consultants, business users, QA teams, and project managers.

• Articulate technical options, constraints, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Provide mentorship to junior developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of Salesforce experience, with robust hands-on development and implementation skills.

• Proficient in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Salesforce APIs, and integration development.

• Practical development experience with Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, Agentforce Revenue, or comparable CPQ platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of the quote-to-cash lifecycle, which includes quoting, pricing, approvals, contracting, amendments, renewals, and billing handoff.

• Experience in customizing and extending CPQ processes using Apex, Flows, validation rules, custom objects, integrations, and automation.

• Background in supporting integrations with billing or finance systems such as NetSuite SuiteBilling, ZoneCo, or similar platforms.

• Proven ability to apply AI-native delivery practices, including LLM-assisted development, rapid prototyping, prompt engineering, AI-assisted documentation, and AI-supported configuration and code generation.

• Familiarity with Salesforce Core, encompassing Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce development and configuration, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, triggers, custom objects, validation rules, approval processes, permissions, reports, and dashboards.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing, profiles, permission sets, data model design, governor limits, deployment processes, and platform automation.

• Solid knowledge of Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP integrations, platform events, batch Apex, scheduled Apex, queueable Apex, and data synchronization patterns.

• Familiarity with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Workato, or similar tools.

• Experience with version control, CI/CD, Salesforce DX, sandbox management, metadata deployments, and release management.

• Capability to troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and ensure scalable, maintainable technical solutions.

• Proficient in translating business requirements and solution designs into high-quality technical deliverables.

• Salesforce certifications are preferred, such as Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Administrator, or Platform App Builder.

• Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect is advantageous but not mandatory.
