Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Identify and propose improvements to current software solutions by utilizing analytics, user and stakeholder feedback, along with input from various teams.

• Document and showcase proposals using Asana and Jira.

• Take ownership of enhancements from the stages of requirements gathering through to approval and implementation.

• Collaborate with both internal and external members of the Technology team.

• Define strategy and execute API integrations for new platforms.

• Ensure seamless connectivity with front-end applications, third-party systems, and Salesforce.

• Provide support and occasionally guide Systems Analysts in production operations.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, including Salesforce Apex.

• Implement SDLC best practices, structured testing, source control, and manage releases.

• Troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce functionality, integrations, and data integrity.

• Maintain technical documentation for Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.

• Contribute to Agile Scrum or Kanban processes and provide effort estimates.

• Mentor or guide junior team members.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is required.

• 3-5+ years of progressively responsible experience in software development, platform support, or systems integration.

• Required hands-on experience with Salesforce data flows and Apex coding.

• Familiarity with modern software development languages and best practices.

• Proficiency in API development and integration is preferred.

• Experience in customizing and configuring Salesforce, including security settings, user roles, profiles, workflows, validation rules, and process automation.

• Understanding of enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, SurveyMonkey Apply, Canvas LMS, Symplicity, and Avature.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical and data-related challenges.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.

• Experience with API integrations, Java development, and object-oriented programming.

• Salesforce Developer Platform II Certification is required.
