This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop the Salesforce component of an order management system for a beverage manufacturer.
• Create the Salesforce order data model, which includes mapping client materials, customer materials, ship-to parties, and customer purchase order references.
• Generate a projected requirement report within Salesforce at both account and material levels, replicating its record structure and decision-making rules.
• Establish functionality to modify order records, encompassing quantity, requested ship dates, line item details, and amendment reason codes.
• Implement the capability to cancel orders.
• Create return authorizations as a distinct order type, enabling returns to be processed within Salesforce instead of SAP.
• Enforce the state model that dictates permissible amendments at each stage of the order lifecycle.
• Set up approval workflows based on authorization thresholds.
• Develop exception and reconciliation interfaces to display what has been accepted by SAP and what has not.
• Produce five to ten reports and two to three dashboards concerning the order portfolio.
• Collaborate with an integration architect within the same squad as part of an existing program's sprint cycle.
• Four to six years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform, focusing on development rather than administration.
• Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and handling integrations via callouts and platform events.
• Practical experience with transactional or order objects, including data model design, complex validation, and approval workflows.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
• Fluent in English, capable of participating in the program's ceremonies alongside a US-based team.
• Desirable: Experience with Salesforce Order Management or order objects in a Salesforce organization integrated with an ERP system.
• Desirable: Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
• Desirable: Experience in creating reports and dashboards in high volume.
• Desirable: Background in manufacturing or consumer packaged goods.
