Salesforce Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead discovery sessions and workshops with business stakeholders, product owners, and executive sponsors.

• Identify functional needs and uncover business requirements.

• Convert business requirements into process flow diagrams, user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, and technical documentation.

• Oversee and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with Project Managers and Solution Architects utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Design future-state business processes and conduct gap analyses.

• Assess whether Salesforce can resolve business pain points either natively or through customization.

• Manage the User Acceptance Testing phase, including developing test scripts, coordinating with business users, and triaging defects.

• Create training materials and facilitate end-user enablement sessions.

• Work alongside developers and QA teams during build and sprint cycles.

• Direct Salesforce features from initial discovery through to successful User Acceptance Testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of overall experience.

• 4+ years of focused business analysis experience within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• 4 to 7 years of practical experience in Salesforce configuration.

• At least 3+ years dedicated to implementing Salesforce CPQ and Billing.

• Strong expertise in Salesforce declarative tools, including Flows and Custom Objects.

• Technical scripting skills in JavaScript and Apex.

• In-depth understanding of subscription billing models, revenue scheduling, invoicing rules, and tax calculation integrations such as Avalara.

• Proficient in business process mapping tools such as Lucidchart, Miro, and Visio.

• Familiarity with Agile management software, including Jira and Confluence.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce clouds, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.

• Required Salesforce Certified Business Analyst certification.

• Required Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification.

• Preferred certifications include Salesforce Platform Developer I or Salesforce Certified Administrator.

• Preferred Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certification.

• Previous consulting or enterprise experience with multi-currency, multi-entity global CPQ and Billing deployments is preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
