This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the strategy, development, and implementation of the new onboarding process for sales representatives.
• Deliver structured learning experiences from pre-boarding to field readiness.
• Convert field, business, and performance requirements into actionable learning and development solutions.
• Create and enhance blended learning paths that include formal education, field application, practice, coaching, reinforcement, and assessment.
• Collaborate with Sales Leaders and field managers to establish readiness expectations, key capabilities, and developmental priorities.
• Ensure that onboarding encompasses customer interactions, selling expectations, territory and account management responsibilities, product knowledge, business insight, and industry context.
• Foster manager engagement through regular touchpoints, coaching expectations, tools, and resources.
• Implement adult-learning strategies and capability development practices.
• Guide field trainers, facilitators, peer coaches, subject-matter experts, and external collaborators.
• Assess effectiveness through feedback, evaluations, field observations, and business metrics.
• Lead cross-functional projects while managing priorities, deadlines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
• Facilitate impactful onboarding and commercial development experiences.
• Maintain connections with the field and adjust programs according to changing business and customer needs.
• BA/BS degree is required.
• Vision Care sales experience is preferred, or a minimum of 5 years in Sales Training, onboarding, learning and development, or commercial training is required.
• Strong business acumen is essential.
• In-depth understanding of field selling, customer engagement, territory/account management, and commercial performance expectations.
• Ability to conduct engaging training sessions in both virtual and in-person settings.
• Experience in building, refining, or managing training curricula, learning journeys, facilitator guides, assessments, and training materials is a plus.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Capability to simplify complex product, selling, systems, and process information into clear, practical, and engaging learning experiences.
• Strong project management abilities.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement and the ability to evaluate training effectiveness, identify gaps, and enhance processes.
• Comfortable working remotely and willing to travel domestically.
• Travel required approximately 15–25% for in-person onboarding, field training, and commercial training events.
