This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the strategy, development, and implementation of the onboarding process for new sales representatives.
• Deliver a structured learning experience from the pre-boarding phase to field readiness.
• Convert field, business, and performance requirements into effective learning and development solutions.
• Create and enhance blended learning experiences that include formal education, field application, practice, coaching, reinforcement, and assessment.
• Collaborate with Sales Leaders and field managers to establish readiness criteria, essential skills, and development priorities.
• Ensure that onboarding encompasses customer interactions, sales expectations, territory and account management, product knowledge, business acumen, and industry context.
• Foster manager engagement through defined touchpoints, coaching expectations, tools, and resources.
• Implement adult-learning principles and capability-development strategies.
• Support field trainers, facilitators, peer coaches, subject-matter experts, and external partners.
• Utilize feedback, assessments, field observations, and business metrics to assess effectiveness and promote improvement.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives while managing priorities, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
• Conduct onboarding and commercial development activities.
• Maintain connections with the field to ensure programs remain relevant to business and customer needs.
• BA/BS degree required.
• Preferred experience in Vision Care sales, or at least 5 years in Sales Training, onboarding, learning and development, or commercial training.
• Strong business acumen is necessary.
• In-depth understanding of field selling, customer engagement, territory/account management, and commercial performance expectations.
• Ability to facilitate engaging training experiences in both virtual and in-person settings.
• Experience in developing, refining, or managing training curricula, learning paths, facilitator guides, assessments, and training materials is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capability to simplify complex product, selling, systems, and process information into clear, practical, and engaging learning experiences.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement, with the ability to evaluate training effectiveness, identify gaps, and enhance processes.
• Comfortable working remotely and open to domestic travel.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15–25% as needed.
