This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Identify and evaluate the training requirements for the US Wound Care sales team.
• Lead the creation and preparation of training programs, processes, tools, and activities that meet the needs of the sales organization.
• Collaborate with Sales, Clinical, Product, and Marketing colleagues both locally and globally to create and implement training programs and events.
• Convert salesforce business goals and perceptions of the wound care portfolio/category into effective training experiences.
• Establish an annual training calendar that includes product knowledge, selling techniques, strategic partner engagement, reimbursement insights, as well as market and competitor analysis.
• Design and implement strategies to evaluate and monitor A&P investments, knowledge acquisition, scorecards, accountability, and ongoing learning.
• Ensure compliance with clinical evidence in collaboration with Regulatory, Compliance, and Legal partners.
• Oversee the Field Sales Trainer training program for the Wound Care sales team.
• Provide support for educational materials for digital learning initiatives and in-person training sessions.
• Conduct training sessions in the field and manage resources that support these trainings.
• Assist the sales team by responding to ongoing market demands.
• Oversee the A&P budget.
• Adapt global programs to fit the local market needs.
• Co-travel with field sales representatives across the country to facilitate ongoing development.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience leading teams and conducting training.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry as a trainer, clinician, or sales manager.
• Extensive training experience is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Capability to work with graphic design software.
• Ability to implement training across all phases of the B2B sales cycle.
• Significant experience in the wound care therapy field.
• Ability to earn respect quickly among peers in sales, marketing, finance, distribution, and operations.
• Capacity to recognize tasks, take initiative, and achieve results.
• Proven abilities in problem-solving, multitasking, and managing project deadlines.
• Managerial courage and the capacity to oversee and assess work output.
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaborative skills.
• Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities.
• Ability to identify emerging market trends and knowledge of healthcare/government legislation and its effects on clients.
• Experience in translating technical product information into benefits relevant to Salesforce and customers.
• Highly developed teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Must reside in Charlotte, Philadelphia, or close to a major US international airport.
