This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Support the objectives of the Ryder Sales University program, improving the efficiency of sales and support talent within the SCS/DTS Sales organization.
• Collaborate with field sales leadership to pinpoint tailored training and development opportunities.
• Regularly meet with sales personnel to evaluate assessments, individual development plans, and overall progress.
• Monitor the performance and developmental needs of the sales team.
• Curate development plans that include coaching initiatives.
• Coach, cultivate, and inspire sales professionals.
• Follow up on activities and sessions while assessing progress with sales leaders.
• Act as a consultant to field sales leaders.
• Facilitate and deliver sales training through classroom sessions and webinars.
• Determine the method of training delivery, content, and design in collaboration with the Sales Training organization.
• Recommend and assist in the creation of training content, design, and modalities.
• Implement continuous improvement opportunities based on program evaluations, leadership feedback, and best practices in sales training.
• Make independent decisions during coaching or training sessions, including managing attendance and addressing non-completions in coordination with sales leaders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Marketing is required, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of sales or account management experience, with a proven track record in sales and coaching within a multi-channel business service environment.
• Exceptional collaboration and team-building abilities.
• Capability to communicate and manage effectively across various groups, including HQ staff, sales leadership, operations, salespeople, and sales associates.
• Knowledge and experience with coaching models and best practices.
• Proficiency in assisting individuals to identify goals, formulate realistic action plans, seek development opportunities, and monitor progress and accountability.
• Ability to effectively facilitate meetings, work sessions, and training programs.
• Strong grasp of adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and facilitation techniques.
• Ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
• Capacity to build and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in leveraging Microsoft Teams for virtual sessions.
• Willingness to travel 20–30% of the time.
