This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Act as a representative of the company with a thorough understanding of its product range.
• Enhance sales effectiveness by building strong relationships with customers and recognizing their needs.
• Collaborate directly with Sales and Sales leadership to sustain and expand business within designated territories.
• Generate leads and deliver customer service for primary accounts.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to assist Sales in modifying sales strategies based on field experiences and outcomes.
• Organize weekly, monthly, and annual sales activities between the Sales Support Team and external sales.
• Lead outbound calls and manage account coverage for a specified region of the United States.
• Define, develop, and oversee a Customer Service team.
• Support and uphold internal sales processes from order placement to shipment, including quoting, order acknowledgments/confirmations, and order tracking.
• Partner with outside sales, Technical & Architectural Services, and inside sales teams to meet the annual budget goals.
• Define, develop, and maintain a skilled Inside Sales team for a particular customer segment.
• Work alongside sales leadership to formulate and uphold an Inside Sales strategy.
• Generate and standardize KPIs while reporting on the achievement of sales budget targets.
• Foster a motivated, customer-focused, and continuously improving team culture.
• Oversee and guide the Outbound Call Specialist and establish KPIs linked to annual budget performance.
• Evaluate talent and manage team performance effectively.
• Undertake additional projects, responsibilities, or tasks as assigned by management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business and 5 years of relevant experience in leading a customer service/inside sales team.
• Over 10 years of sales and leadership experience may substitute for a degree.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven experience in managing, directing, and inspiring a team.
• Strong multitasking skills and the capacity to prioritize effectively.
• Highly organized with efficient work habits.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, etc.).
• Ability to be trained in company-specific software.
• Experience with various business systems is required (ERP, CRM).
• Willingness to travel 10–30% to visit facilities, customers, and suppliers.
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
