This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Meet revenue objectives and enhance market presence within the designated area by overseeing the entire sales process from lead generation to closure.
• Utilize Siemens’ customer relationship management system to monitor and report on sales activities.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with laboratory personnel, healthcare professionals, and industry thought leaders.
• Collaborate across departments including Sales, Marketing, Scientific Support, Technical Applications Organization, and Customer Service.
• Identify potential clients and position Siemens solutions to secure accounts and boost market share.
• Manage the existing Siemens Systems client base and drive revenue growth through the introduction of newly launched assays.
• Organize sales efforts that include technical presentations, financial proposals, client testimonials, site visits, competitive analysis, equipment demonstrations, contract negotiations, and customer implementation support.
• Transform newly acquired customers into reference accounts.
• Create and execute strategies to surpass revenue and growth targets, optimize customer profitability, and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Foster long-term relationships with key decision-makers in accounts.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Siemens clinical products and services, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
• Implement demand generation initiatives for essential market segments.
• Deliver market and customer insights through both internal and external data analysis, and communicate trends to management.
• Travel within the assigned territory to engage with customers, attend sales events, and participate in training sessions.
• Manage analytical tools for funnel development, CRM, and market insights to ensure transparency for stakeholders and decision-makers.
• A minimum of a BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or medical health sciences (such as medical technology, biology, clinical chemistry, etc.).
• Over 5 years of experience in capital sales, ideally within clinical diagnostics.
• Possession of technical knowledge.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and personnel within the department.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Understanding of the relevant disease states, laboratory operations, and competitive testing methodologies is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
• Expected travel time is 75%.
• A successful candidate must be able to work with controlled technology in compliance with US export control laws.
