This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Identify and cultivate new business prospects for Westlaw and CoCounsel within the government sector.
• Seek out and pinpoint mid-contract and new sales opportunities in the public sector.
• Research key decision-makers and influencers within targeted agencies.
• Gain a thorough understanding of Westlaw and CoCounsel capabilities and customize sales presentations for government agencies.
• Create and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate accounts both within and outside the conventional buying process.
• Collaborate in a team setting to advance and finalize sales.
• Achieve and surpass monthly and annual sales objectives.
• Maintain precise sales pipeline and forecasting reports.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices.
• Conduct live demonstrations of the platform.
• Proven history of success in a sales position, preferably within the legal technology or government software sectors.
• Strong comprehension of legal technology and its applications within government entities.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in conducting business professionally both in-person and remotely.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Familiarity with legal technology solutions, especially CoCounsel, is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• J.D. is preferred.
