This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Formulate strategies for territories and accounts aimed at targeted law firms and attorneys, considering various firm sizes and practice areas.
• Market and sell the comprehensive range of IMS services.
• Conduct daily field visits to engage with both current and potential law firm clients.
• Cultivate relationships through in-services, lunch-and-learns, and company-sponsored events.
• Customize presentations and discussions to address the specific needs of litigation firms.
• Enhance IMS visibility through phone calls, emails, social media, and coordinated marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to kickstart and support new matters, ensuring a smooth client experience.
• Represent IMS at industry conferences, bar association gatherings, and firm programs.
• Complete training across various IMS departments and service offerings to effectively cross-sell and position the entire portfolio.
• Develop and implement tactical plans to meet sales quotas and achieve territory objectives.
• Carry out necessary outreach and meeting activities.
• Research firms and litigators to discover opportunities and tailor outreach accordingly.
• Fulfill productivity expectations and case initiation targets.
• Advocate for clients while collaborating with internal teams on case and project requirements.
• Work alongside the Sales Director to devise strategic plans aimed at generating revenue, expanding accounts, and enhancing market penetration.
• 2–5 years of sales experience within a professional services firm (legal sales experience is preferred but not mandatory).
• Exceptional skills in prospecting and business development.
• Capacity to engage with both large institutional firms and small boutique practices.
• Strong skills in building one-on-one relationships with attorneys and litigation staff.
• Proven track record of meeting or surpassing monthly sales quotas.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
• Capability to balance fieldwork with administrative duties.
• Professional demeanor and a strong client-service focus.
• Willingness to work from the field on a daily basis.
• Demonstrated success in revenue generation and account management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Experience in selling litigation services such as court reporting, trial support, or expert services is advantageous.
• An undergraduate degree is preferred.
