This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Demonstrate and uphold the core values of IMS.
• Formulate territory and account strategies to enhance relationships with targeted law firms and attorneys across various firm sizes and practice areas.
• Promote and sell the complete range of IMS services.
• Conduct daily field visits to engage with both existing and potential law firm clients.
• Build relationships through scheduled in-services, lunch-and-learn sessions, and IMS-initiated or sponsored events.
• Customize presentations and discussions to meet the specific needs of law firms and litigation organizations.
• Amplify IMS visibility and preference through phone, email, social media, and coordinated marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to initiate and support new matters while ensuring a seamless client experience.
• Represent IMS at industry conferences, bar association events, and firm programs.
• Complete training across IMS departments and service offerings to effectively cross-sell and position the entire IMS portfolio.
• Develop and implement tactical plans aimed at achieving sales quotas and territory objectives.
• Perform necessary outreach and meeting activities.
• Research firms and litigators to pinpoint opportunities and customize outreach efforts.
• Meet productivity expectations and targets for case initiation.
• Advocate for clients while working collaboratively with internal teams to fulfill case and project requirements.
• Partner with the Sales Director to devise and execute strategic plans aimed at generating revenue, expanding accounts, and enhancing market penetration.
• Exceptional prospecting and business development skills, with the ability to engage both large institutional firms and small boutique practices.
• Strong one-on-one relationship-building abilities with attorneys and litigation staff.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly sales quotas.
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management capabilities.
• Ability to balance fieldwork with administrative duties.
• Professional demeanor and strong client-service orientation.
• Willingness to work from the field on a daily basis.
• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of sales experience in a professional services firm (legal sales experience preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience in selling litigation services such as court reporting, trial support, or expert services is advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in generating revenue and managing accounts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
