This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Proactively manage and enhance your sales territory within the Rhine-Main area and selected parts of the Palatinate.
• Provide expert advice and support to end customers, trade partners, and relevant branches regarding 3M solutions for automotive repair systems.
• Establish, nurture, and strategically grow long-term relationships with customers.
• Discover new business prospects through systematic analysis of territory, customer base, and potential opportunities.
• Plan and execute sales initiatives to fulfill marketing and sales targets.
• Collaborate with application technicians, paint industry partners, and internal stakeholders to effectively implement customer projects.
• Educate relevant distribution partners on 3M products, solutions, and their applications.
• Actively oversee opportunities and the sales pipeline, including maintaining records in Salesforce.
• Deliver regular updates to the Sales Manager.
• Foster a robust Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by adhering to safety policies, recognizing hazards, and participating in ongoing improvement efforts.
• Successfully completed vocational training as an automotive painter or in a similar paint-related field, ideally enhanced by a master craftsperson qualification or equivalent further education.
• Several years of hands-on experience in painting, bodywork, or automotive repair.
• Initial sales experience within the automotive aftermarket is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the market, products, and competitors, along with insights into relevant structures and trends in the automotive repair sector.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Capability to cultivate, maintain, and advance long-term customer relationships.
• Organized, independent work style with robust organizational skills.
• Analytical skills for evaluating customer potential, market opportunities, and sales strategies.
• Proficient in both German and English.
• Willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.
• Experience collaborating with trade partners, workshop networks, or relevant stakeholders in the automotive aftermarket is advantageous.
• Familiarity with planning and executing sales initiatives is beneficial.
• Experience in delivering product training, training sessions, or customer workshops is an advantage.
• Strong IT skills, ideally including experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
