This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Provide support for the application and sales of chemical solutions utilized in the paper manufacturing sector.
• Assist clients on-site in recognizing and implementing effective chemical applications throughout the paper production process.
• Manage the sales process to achieve and surpass sales and profitability margin objectives.
• Cultivate profitable business relationships with designated accounts.
• Increase profits, market presence, and share.
• Present new products and solutions to clients.
• Coordinate reports, sales calls, and business assessments.
• Aid in demand forecasting for the designated region.
• Lead and participate in team initiatives.
• Build and sustain relationships with personnel from operators to mill managers at production facilities.
• Influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively within a paper manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paper science, chemistry, biology, microbiology, or chemical engineering.
• Over 5 years of experience in the paper industry.
• Capability to formulate Key Account or Project Plans and execute them with precision.
• Strong focus on documenting the ROI of both new and existing applications.
• Ability to establish “trust-based” relationships with key purchasers.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Preferred experience in managing Large Accounts ($5 MM+).
• Preferred experience in packaging and board production.
• Preferred familiarity with paper-making operations.
• Preferred experience in Lean Six Sigma and statistical analysis.
• Preferred knowledge of general wet-end applications, including retention, sizing, strength, cleaning, defoamers, felt wash, and microbiological control.
