This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Conduct field sales calls and request orders for assigned Medtronic Spinal and Biologics products.

• Market implantable devices to physicians, institutions, payors, and other relevant medical staff.

• Oversee consignment and loaner inventory, transferring loaner sets between accounts as necessary.

• Reduce non-usage and flight usage of products.

• Deliver field service and case coverage to clients.

• Compile and submit field visit reports to the District Sales Manager.

• Maintain up-to-date customer record books and other documentation.

• Visit hospitals to solicit orders from both existing and potential customers.

• Identify new customers and adhere to directed acquisition strategies.

• Address customer complaints following company policy and escalate issues as needed.

• Suggest additions, modifications, or removals to the product line.

• Achieve or surpass sales quotas and the company's market share within the assigned region.

• Observe competitor products and merchandising practices, reporting findings to the District Sales Manager.

• Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, conventions, and trade shows.

• Assist in the field training of sales personnel.

• Collaborate with personnel on company initiatives.

• Develop and implement an annual business plan with quarterly revisions.

• Provide reports and information as required.

• Conduct business with integrity and adhere to company policies.

• Manage the business with a focus on profitability.

• Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory to cover hospital cases, conduct account visits, relocate loaner sets, and attend meetings and events.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 6+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, Medtech, healthcare, or life sciences; or an Associate's Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Strong ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals and personalities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work in an operating room environment.

• Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule.

• Experience in Orthopedics, Spine, or Operating Room settings is highly preferred.

• Must be independently mobile.

• Ability to use a computer for extended periods and communicate with colleagues effectively.

• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an active vehicle insurance policy.

• Driving record will be evaluated as part of the application process.

• For degrees obtained outside of the United States, a degree that meets the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.

• Positions below the Principal level require unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment.
