This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Strategize and oversee territory activities to drive sales and enhance market share through approved sales and marketing strategies and tools.

• Deliver outstanding customer service to clients within the territory.

• Manage sales operations and administrative tasks for the designated territory.

• Organize and implement a business plan to achieve sales targets and fulfill customer requirements.

• Acquire new customers while nurturing existing relationships.

• Relay information on market trends, competition, and requests for pricing or payment exceptions.

• Cultivate relationships and increase sales with designated distribution partners.

• Reach out to roofing contractors, remodelers, builders, and architects to stimulate demand for IKO products.

• Present products and programs to qualified distributors and end users on a weekly basis.

• Conduct Product Knowledge training sessions for customers.

• Follow up on inquiries from customers and administrative personnel.

• Submit weekly Intelligence Reports.

• Participate in meetings, events, and company-sponsored training sessions.

• Investigate and address product quality complaints.

• Comply with IKO policies and procedures, including Health and Safety and Vehicle regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

• Proven experience in engaging primarily with end users and executing “pull through” sales strategies.

• Established track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.

• Previous sales experience in the building products sector is preferred.

• Prior experience working with roofing contractors, builders, and/or architects is a plus.

• Previous professional sales training is advantageous.

• A 2 or 4-year college degree in a Sales or Marketing-related discipline is preferred.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Strong proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
