This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead the complete sales process for enterprise accounts.
• Establish strong, trust-based relationships with district stakeholders.
• Create and implement territory plans for new sales, renewals, and services.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust territory forecasts in collaboration with sales leadership.
• Oversee the territory budget.
• Evaluate the competitive landscape and collect market intelligence.
• Comprehend district priorities, local and state political contexts, and evidence-based educational practices.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Assess district requirements and remain updated on upcoming district adoptions.
• Manage both inbound and outbound leads.
• Conduct discovery meetings to identify sales opportunities.
• Engage with district-level decision-makers through clear and professional communication.
• Present sales pitches and assist with pilots for Tier 2 accounts.
• Perform regular in-person visits to districts and take part in regional events.
• Support implementation efforts.
• Lead territory strategy alongside Pre-Sales and Success Teams.
• Provide actionable insights to the Regional Sales Director.
• Maintain consistent check-ins with districts and connect them with implementation resources.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, ideally within the educational sector.
• Demonstrated success in achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• In-depth knowledge of educational programs, curriculum, and pedagogical practices.
• Ability to clearly and compellingly convey the value of educational solutions.
• Proven experience in managing and expanding a sales pipeline within a specified territory.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams, especially with Pre-Sales, Success, and Implementation teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or Liberal Arts.
• Candidates must live within the designated territory: Kern County, Ventura County, or California.
• Capacity to occasionally lift, reach, and move products weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time via domestic air travel and driving, including overnight stays.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.
• Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination status.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is necessary.
• Must be capable of performing the role at specific client locations depending on vaccination status.
