This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Create and implement strategic territory and account plans to enhance awareness, adoption, and usage of Cologuard while meeting sales targets.
• Establish and nurture relationships with physicians, healthcare administrators, and other essential stakeholders.
• Recognize unmet needs and provide value-driven diagnostic solutions.
• Evaluate local healthcare markets, customer data, and account insights to uncover opportunities that improve patient outcomes and strengthen the care system.
• Work in collaboration with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Screening Advocates, Sales Operations, and Area Managers.
• Execute customer-specific business strategies to maximize account success.
• Record customer interactions, sales activities, market intelligence, and pipeline development in the CRM system.
• Uphold ethical standards, quality, and compliance regulations.
• Partner with healthcare providers to promote the adoption of Cologuard and other diagnostic solutions, including Cancerguard.
• Travel within the assigned territory, with travel expectations of 75% of the time.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Life Sciences, or a related field, or four (4) years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Two (2) years of experience in sales, inside sales, or account management, or one (1) year of sales experience combined with one (1) year of healthcare-related experience, or completion of active-duty military service as a Junior Officer or above.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Outstanding organizational, time management, and relationship-building skills.
• A valid driver's license with a driving record that satisfies company standards.
• Willingness to travel daily throughout the assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays.
• Capability to meet healthcare facility credentialing requirements, including vaccination or other site-specific mandates where applicable.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Preferred: Two (2) or more years of experience in medical device, diagnostics, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sales.
• Preferred: Experience engaging with primary care physicians or other healthcare provider customers.
• Preferred: Proven success in commissioned sales and territory management.
• Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Preferred: Experience utilizing data and business intelligence tools to inform account planning and sales strategies.
• Preferred: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consultative selling abilities.
