This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Create and implement strategic territory and account plans to enhance awareness, adoption, and use of Cologuard while meeting sales targets.
• Establish and nurture relationships with physicians, healthcare administrators, and other essential stakeholders.
• Recognize unmet needs and provide value-driven diagnostic solutions.
• Examine local healthcare markets, customer data, and account insights to discover opportunities that improve patient outcomes and strengthen the care system.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Screening Advocates, Sales Operations, and Area Managers on business strategies tailored to customers.
• Record customer interactions, sales activities, market intelligence, and pipeline development within the CRM.
• Uphold ethical, quality, and compliance standards.
• Promote colorectal cancer screening and stimulate business growth through effective account management and clinical education.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Life Sciences, or a related field, or four (4) years of pertinent professional experience in place of a degree.
• Two (2) years of sales, inside sales, or account management experience OR one (1) year of sales experience coupled with one (1) year of healthcare-related experience OR completion of active-duty military service as a Junior Officer or higher.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational, time management, and relationship-building capabilities.
• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record that meets company standards.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight trips.
• Capability to fulfill healthcare facility credentialing requirements, including vaccinations or other site-specific prerequisites where necessary.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Preferred: two (2) or more years of experience in medical device, diagnostics, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sales.
• Preferred: experience engaging with primary care physicians or other healthcare provider clients.
• Preferred: a proven track record in commissioned sales and territory management.
• Preferred: proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM systems.
• Preferred: experience utilizing data and business intelligence tools to inform account planning and sales strategies.
• Preferred: strong analytical, problem-solving, and consultative selling abilities.
