This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.
• Provide guidance to architectural professionals regarding the design and specifications of door openings.
• Utilize Openings Studio BIM software to define 3D doors, hardware, and access control solutions.
• Build strategic relationships with influencers and specifiers within architectural design teams.
• Identify and secure opportunities to create door and hardware specifications.
• Offer product information tailored for commercial project specifications.
• Conduct continuing education programs that showcase products, solutions, and design-assist services.
• Assist in product substitution and approval processes, providing follow-up support during bidding.
• Employ Salesforce.com for managing customer relationships, tracking projects, and overseeing time management.
• Act as the primary contact for architects regarding education, specifications, client satisfaction, and technical support.
• Monitor architectural developments and projects, ensuring approval for specification documents.
• Advocate for the use of the Openings Studio BIM tool and present professional service proposals that provide added value.
• Bachelor's degree from a college or university, preferably in architectural design, engineering, drafting, construction science/management, business, or a related field; or a minimum high school/GED diploma coupled with relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales within the Architectural or Design Market, or in selling commercial architectural hardware.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in utilizing and maintaining CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and facility standards effectively.
• Technical knowledge and sales aptitude related to the industry.
• Willingness to travel within an assigned territory to meet customer needs.
• Capability to work from a home office or while traveling.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of samples and display materials.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and negotiation skills.
