This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with senior sales leadership and various stakeholders to design, construct, and enhance essential sales processes from opportunity creation to closure, including webstore, quoting, product, and approvals.
• Oversee cross-functional programs and projects from start to finish, encompassing requirement scoping, user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, and adoption strategies.
• Evaluate, assess, and prioritize enhancement opportunities based on their business impact and required effort.
• Contribute to a long-term strategy for transformation initiatives.
• Identify areas for improvement using both quantitative and qualitative insights.
• Convert insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with the Salesforce Systems team to automate workflows and improve systems processes.
• Provide business requirements and considerations, conduct UAT testing, and lead communications for the sales team.
• Ensure governance of relevant sales processes and policies.
• Maintain essential documentation and ensure compliance with global sales standards.
• Advocate for and integrate Samsara's cultural principles as the company expands globally and opens new offices.
• Over 6 years of experience in a Sales Operations role or similar growth or operations positions within a dynamic, high-growth environment.
• Capability to develop and manage complex, business-critical programs across teams, from vague problem definitions to implementation and acceptance.
• Profound knowledge of core sales operational processes, such as opportunity management, quoting, approvals, product operations, or related pre-sales workflows.
• Proficient in Salesforce and familiar with the broader sales technology ecosystem.
• Experience in providing business requirements and conducting UAT for system modifications.
• Strong organizational skills coupled with sound business judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion.
• Proven ability to create compelling, data-driven narratives and present findings to senior and executive leadership.
• Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities.
• Bachelor's degree or higher from a reputable university.
• A focus in business, finance, economics, or engineering is preferred.
• MBA is optional.
• Experience as a Salesforce administrator is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Product Management and/or Six Sigma best practices is a plus but not required.
