This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Take ownership and lead the company's comprehensive revenue generation efforts encompassing both Sales and Marketing.
• Design, implement, and refine sales and marketing strategies that yield qualified leads, enhance sales performance, and foster sustainable revenue growth.
• Manage the complete sales and marketing funnel from the initial client interaction to signed contracts and new client acquisition.
• Evaluate current sales and marketing operations and introduce solutions to rectify gaps and inefficiencies.
• Establish scalable lead generation systems through SEO, outbound sales, partnerships, referrals, paid acquisition, content marketing, and other growth avenues.
• Enhance lead qualification, sales processes, pipeline management, and conversion metrics.
• Personally spearhead strategic sales initiatives and high-value opportunities during the initial rebuilding phase.
• Recruit, nurture, and manage high-performing Sales and Marketing teams.
• Oversee departmental budgets, hiring strategies, resource distribution, and investment decisions regarding channels.
• Set KPIs, performance indicators, and reporting systems for Sales and Marketing.
• Track pipeline health, lead generation efficiency, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, revenue predictions, and overall commercial performance.
• Deliver performance reports, strategic insights, and revenue forecasts to Company Leadership.
• Collaborate with the Service Department and cross-functional teams to align client expectations, sales commitments, service delivery, onboarding, and client success.
• Discover market opportunities, partnerships, and innovative growth initiatives.
• Analyze industry trends, competitor movements, e-commerce developments, and new marketing strategies.
• Create scalable processes, documentation, and operational frameworks.
• Engage in leadership meetings and contribute to the company's strategic direction.
• Assist other departments with commercial insights and strategic initiatives.
• Report directly to Company Leadership.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading Sales, Marketing, or Revenue functions with direct accountability for commercial outcomes.
• Proven track record in building, scaling, and managing high-performing Sales and Marketing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth while establishing scalable commercial systems and processes.
• Extensive experience within a digital marketing agency or SaaS organization serving e-commerce businesses (required).
• Proven success in generating qualified leads through SEO, outbound sales, partnerships, referrals, content marketing, and other growth initiatives.
• Strong sales expertise with a successful history of personally closing new business and handling high-value sales opportunities.
• In-depth understanding of sales pipeline management, lead qualification, conversion optimization, and revenue forecasting.
• Excellent analytical abilities and capacity to make data-driven decisions.
• Experience in managing departmental budgets, hiring, resource planning, and operational performance.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team management capabilities.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills, accountability, responsiveness, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.
• Availability and responsiveness during office hours, Mondays to Fridays between 3–6 PM BCN time.
• Capacity to consistently work 30–35 hours per week, approximately 140 hours monthly.
• Reliable internet connection.
• Laptop or desktop capable of attending virtual meetings.
• Willingness to receive constructive feedback and provide effective coaching and input.
• Experience in selling retention marketing services such as Email Marketing, SMS Marketing, or UGC services is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with Klaviyo, e-commerce marketing technology, and the overall e-commerce ecosystem is highly desirable.
• Existing relationships or network within the e-commerce or DTC industry is considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Fixed monthly salary paid in USD.
• Uncapped performance-based commission linked to closed revenue.
• Full-rate payment for the first two months during the trial-and-adaptation period.
• Regular performance evaluations every 9–12 months, with the first review occurring after 3–6 months.
• Fully remote position with a flexible working schedule.
