This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL-based data models, tables, views, stored procedures, and scheduled tasks.
• Create automated, reusable analytical datasets that connect marketing expenditure and lead activities with sales, loans, revenue, and profitability results.
• Establish documentation, business definitions, data lineage, and governance standards for marketing datasets and metrics.
• Oversee data quality, reconcile findings across sources, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Enhance the scalability, reliability, and accessibility of the marketing analytics environment.
• Analyze marketing channels, lead-generation partners, publishers, and affiliates throughout the entire customer funnel.
• Assess lead volume, quality, conversion, cost, revenue, and profitability to uncover gaps and optimization prospects.
• Conduct funnel, cohort, segmentation, and partner-level analyses.
• Develop opportunity sizing, scenario analyses, and recommendations for budget allocation, partner strategy, pricing, and channel optimization.
• Collaborate with channel owners and stakeholders to define metrics, diagnose challenges, and evaluate optimization impacts.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports for marketing and executive stakeholders.
• Generate visualizations and analytical narratives that highlight trends, drivers, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Convert complex data into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deliver ad hoc analyses that address urgent business inquiries.
• Develop standardized reporting frameworks and metric definitions.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Product, and Technology teams.
• Act as an analytical partner to marketing leadership and channel owners.
• Communicate analytical limitations, assumptions, and data quality considerations.
• May supervise or mentor up to one analyst.
• Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, economics, finance, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar discipline.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex query development, data validation, data modeling, table design, stored procedures, and scheduled tasks.
• Practical experience with relational databases and large, intricate datasets.
• Experience in creating dashboards, recurring reports, and executive-level visualizations in Power BI or a similar business intelligence platform.
• Strong analytical problem-solving abilities, linking detailed data insights to business performance and recommended actions.
• Experience in analyzing multi-step conversion funnels, customer cohorts, channel performance, or partner performance.
• Capability to manage analytical projects independently from initial scoping through validation, visualization, and stakeholder presentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with effective collaboration across technical and business teams.
• Preferred: experience in mortgage lending, consumer lending, fintech, banking, or other financial services sectors.
• Preferred: experience with affiliate marketing, lead-generation partners, publishers, or performance marketing.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL Server, Power BI, and Excel.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, or quality-control workflows.
• Experience in measuring cost, revenue, conversion, and profitability across marketing channels or partners.
• Master's degree in a quantitative or business-related field preferred.
