
Sales Manager – Specialty Fluids

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, process, qualify, and allocate incoming leads among the sales team and distributor partner network.
• Follow up on leads generated from tradeshows and events to enhance conversion rates.
• Drive growth in key segments such as tires, general rubber, polymers, adhesives, asphalt, drilling, and agriculture.
• Create share-of-wallet opportunities within current accounts through active engagement and solution-oriented selling.
• Analyze and take action on the sampling program to boost conversion rates and customer involvement.
• Evaluate sales and freight variances alongside Sales leadership to pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Engage in cross-functional projects involving supply chain, technical services, and product development.
• Assist account managers with proposals, presentations, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Oversee new customer onboarding, execution of distributor business plans, campaign launches, and contract obligations.
• Maintain records of contacts, leads, opportunities, forecasts, account plans, call reports, and impact statements in Salesforce CRM.
• Contribute to market research and competitive analysis efforts.
• Promote growth within HF Sinclair's Specialty Fluids portfolio through effective account management strategies.
• Navigate complex B2B sales processes and influence customer decision-making effectively.
• Collaborate with customer service, technical, regulatory, and supply chain teams to provide integrated solutions for customers.
• A minimum of 5 years in sales administration or customer-facing roles.
• Preferably possess B2B sales experience, particularly in the petrochemical or specialty chemicals sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or chemistry is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• A customer-centric approach with a proactive attitude is vital.
• Must be organized, analytical, and results-oriented.
• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite is necessary.
• Experience with Salesforce, SAP, and Power BI is preferred.
• Familiarity with lead generation platforms is advantageous.
• Technical knowledge or competence in specialty chemicals or lubricants is preferred.
• Proficiency in languages commonly used across the Americas and/or Asia is considered a benefit.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% to 50% within North America is required.
• Ability to perform standard office tasks and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
