This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive the formulation and implementation of Eco Battery’s nationwide aftermarket sales strategy tailored for the Marine & RV sectors.
• Create regional and channel-specific sales strategies to meet revenue, volume, margin, and market-share goals.
• Discover new revenue streams through dealers, distributors, retailers, installers, and other aftermarket collaborators.
• Set sales objectives, forecasts, KPIs, and performance benchmarks.
• Evaluate sales data, market dynamics, customer performance, and competitive landscape.
• Oversee and nurture both inside and outside sales teams.
• Facilitate one-on-ones, pipeline assessments, performance evaluations, and sales team gatherings.
• Mentor representatives in prospecting, relationship building, product positioning, negotiation, closing, and account management.
• Recruit, onboard, and cultivate sales talent.
• Foster relationships with key dealers, distributors, and aftermarket stakeholders.
• Assist in strategic account growth and engage in customer meetings, trade shows, dealer events, and industry gatherings.
• Implement standardized sales procedures, CRM practices, reporting, dashboards, forecasting, and sales routines.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Support, and executive leadership.
• Take ownership of the sales forecasting process and assess performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual benchmarks.
• Monitor revenue, gross margin, pipeline, conversion rates, new accounts, reorder rates, average account value, and sales activity.
• Deliver regular reports and insights to executive leadership.
• Ensure the sales team adheres to measurable performance standards and outcomes.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience, ideally in the marine, RV, powersports, automotive, battery, electrical, or related aftermarket sectors.
• At least 2 years of experience in sales management or team leadership.
• A proven history of achieving revenue growth and meeting sales targets.
• Preferred experience in managing both inside and outside sales teams.
• Strong knowledge of aftermarket dealer, distributor, and retail sales channels.
• Demonstrated capability to establish and sustain long-term customer and dealer relationships.
• Excellent analytical and forecasting abilities, with the competence to leverage data for decision-making.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
• Willingness to travel frequently for customer visits, dealer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
• Established relationships within the Marine and/or RV aftermarket sectors.
• Experience in selling lithium batteries, power systems, electrical components, or similar products.
• Background in building or scaling a national dealer network.
• Experience in developing territory strategies and sales compensation structures.
• Familiarity with working in a rapidly growing organization where processes and teams are in constant evolution.
