This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, coordinate, and lead the activities of the sales team.
• Establish new partnerships with vendors and manufacturers in the agriculture and manufacturing sectors.
• Sustain existing relationships to foster new sales opportunities.
• Assign tasks to enhance supervisory duties and team performance.
• Facilitate team meetings and advocate for the team in division-wide and organizational discussions.
• Drive planning, goal-setting initiatives, and departmental management.
• Keep updated on equipment financing and leasing, as well as monitor industry trends.
• Represent Stearns Bank and its offerings while complying with legal and regulatory standards.
• Educate, onboard, train, lead, and mentor departmental staff.
• Direct and manage team initiatives and nurture relationships with referral sources.
• Engage and communicate with vendors, manufacturers, and dealers through phone, email, and occasional site visits.
• Build vendor and prospect relationships through networking, referrals, and new sales avenues.
• Promote and manage tailored payment terms and programs.
• Prepare and present at trade shows and conferences, ensuring follow-up on leads.
• Establish and manage new lease/sales contracts, including application input and legal documentation.
• Supervise customer transactions and handle portfolio management tasks, including risk evaluations and collections.
• Utilize T-Value and HP calculators to determine payment options.
• Keep track of activities and progress in SalesForce, T-Value, and Aspire.
• Assess customer needs and promote Stearns Bank products through cross-selling.
• Negotiate credit decisions, terms, and payment arrangements.
• Set and meet monthly and annual funding and approval targets with leadership.
• Assist with loss prevention and security responsibilities.
• Engage in training and assigned duties.
• Travel minimally as required, including occasional overnight trips.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; relevant experience will be considered.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales management within the equipment finance industry.
• Proven experience in managing and developing teams as well as valuable programs.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer relationship abilities.
• High level of digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Experience with Salesforce is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English.
• Capability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and perform necessary physical activities, including reaching, bending, walking, and handling.
• Specific vision capabilities including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as focus adjustment.
• Willingness to travel lightly as required, including occasional overnight stays.
