This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and execute strategic sales plans and forecasts to meet corporate goals.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key chain accounts and their industrial/distribution partners to stimulate sales growth.
• Generate new sales opportunities by utilizing customer insights to align product capabilities with unfulfilled customer requirements.
• Collaborate with our Marketing and Culinary teams to create opportunities for client engagement, ensuring adherence to budgets and targets.
• Manage, develop, and implement sales strategies for our multi-brand product line.
• Devote time in the field to work with and train distributor representatives, end users, and manufacturing clients as necessary.
• Negotiate and execute sales and marketing initiatives with clients.
• Compile regular sales pipeline reports detailing volume, potential sales, and areas for proposed growth.
• Use the CRM system to maintain accurate records of potential customers, track follow-ups on new leads, and manage the sales pipeline.
• Conduct ongoing analysis, planning, and forecasting of territory sales and opportunities.
• Manage account analysis and territorial expenses.
• Lead internal cross-functional collaboration to enhance customer relationships, partnering with various departments to drive execution and customer satisfaction.
• Provide regular updates on sales activities and opportunities to the VP of Sales.
• Foster and promote a positive team environment with fellow sales representatives and internal support staff.
• 3–5 years of sales experience in the Foodservice Chain channel, demonstrating a successful history of growing strategic customer accounts.
• Preferred experience in chocolate, bakery ingredients, or similar food ingredient categories.
• Strong skills in business development, account management, and building customer relationships.
• Capability to lead customer meetings, identify opportunities, resolve complex business challenges, and support demand forecasting.
• Awareness of market trends, customer needs, and industry advancements within the foodservice sector.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation abilities, with the skill to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Strong organizational, planning, and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate collaborative relationships with customers, colleagues, and company leadership.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently while fostering a strong team-oriented approach.
• Positive, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
• Home-office based, with the willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% within the designated territory.
