This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Drive business and sales expansion for Wabtec's Digital Intelligence portfolio.
• Oversee and manage a customer portfolio comprising transit, commuter, and intercity rail agencies.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies in collaboration with Wabtec business units.
• Manage designated accounts and achieve order objectives.
• Act as the primary Wabtec liaison with customers in the specified region.
• Cultivate customer insights and align desired outcomes with Digital Solutions.
• Establish connections with customer stakeholders at the C-suite level.
• Deliver actionable customer feedback to development teams.
• Spearhead Voice of the Customer and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Create marketing, sales, and strategic business plans.
• Drive business engagement across customer accounts.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve customer business challenges through consultative approaches.
• Oversee proposal generation processes.
• Coordinate technical support teams, contracts, finance, product support, and other functions into customer strategies.
• Provide plans and actions to achieve profitable sales.
• Manage overall customer satisfaction assessment, planning, and execution.
• Report to the Sales Director – Digital Intelligence – Passenger Rail.
• At least five (5) years of commercial experience, including product management and/or direct sales in the rail sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Technical or Business fields from an accredited institution.
• A Master's degree is considered a plus.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Proven business and sales abilities with a successful track record in growth and margin retention.
• Strong competitive drive, self-motivation, courage, determination, and enthusiasm.
• Effective partnerships with customers and skills in stakeholder analysis, engagement, and influence.
• Experience in consultative selling within complex projects, business issues, customer organizations, and varied cultural environments.
• Demonstrated leadership in business teams with clients and internal Marketing, Engineering, and Product Management units.
• Executive presence, effective communication, influence, and outstanding negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of rail products, services, industry insights, and technical expertise.
• Prior experience in rail signaling and/or communications technologies, preferably in product management or project roles.
• Capability to lead and manage in dynamic business environments.
• Understanding of customer business drivers, strategies, and organizational dynamics.
• Expertise in creating Value/Price propositions and differentiating products and services.
• Familiarity with actionable market segmentation and analysis.
• Willingness to learn, share knowledge, grow, and pursue commercial excellence.
• Proven ability to challenge customer perspectives using the Challenger Sales Methodology.
