This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +3 more states.
• Guide a team of Sales Specialist professionals within the Risk division of the Government Segment.
• Propel growth, revenue, and achieve sales objectives.
• Utilize sales enablement tools and processes to create opportunities.
• Engage in customer discussions that highlight the value of existing Thomson Reuters solutions and suggest additional resources.
• Direct the Sales Specialist team in generating new sales.
• Enhance customer satisfaction and engagement.
• Identify strategic solutions to complex challenges.
• Implement goals and initiatives that foster change, innovation, and accountability.
• Formulate plans and establish priorities in alignment with leadership.
• Attain financial and strategic objectives.
• Forecast accurately, assess customers, meet sales targets, update Salesforce, and report on market and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with sales leadership on retention and sales goals as well as talent development.
• Assess performance through coaching, ride-alongs, call monitoring, personal interaction, and activity evaluation.
• Work alongside Marketing, Field Sales, Finance, Human Resources, and other sales support channels to optimize goal achievement.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Over 5 years of management experience.
• More than 5 years of successful sales experience in the Business to Business sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of customers, business, and market dynamics.
• Capacity to adapt business operations to fulfill objectives.
• Experience in coaching sales processes, product training, and professional development.
• Extensive knowledge of the business and industry.
• Ability to engage, communicate, and foster meaningful relationships with key stakeholders and C-Level executives.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• Robust B2B business development skills, encompassing sales/up-sell, retention, and solutions enhancement.
• Effective coaching, leadership, and performance management in relation to business plans, account strategies, customer experiences, product awareness and adoption, product positioning, sales presentations, negotiation, and business acumen.
• Solid understanding and experience with Solution Selling/Consultative Sales.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce, and Xactly.
• Experience in Law Enforcement and Risk/Fraud Solutions is preferred.
