This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Manage and develop the client portfolio for the assigned area, nurturing relationships with direct clients, potential clients, and distributors.
• Organize and conduct business visits and technical meetings.
• Analyze application needs and propose suitable technical solutions in coordination with the internal technical team.
• Prepare technical-commercial offers, estimates, and follow-ups until order management.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, acting as a liaison between clients and internal functions.
• Motivate, train, and support distributors in the area.
• Monitor market trends, competition, pricing trends, and customer needs.
• Contribute to commercial reporting and sales forecasts.
• Participate in trade fairs, industry events, and commercial initiatives.
• Ensure periodic reporting to the direct supervisor and collaborate with the Sales Italy team.
• Technical education, preferably a diploma in Technical Engineering or a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Experience in technical-commercial roles within the sectors of drives, power transmission, automation, industrial components, or similar areas.
• Good ability to read technical drawings and understand industrial applications.
• Knowledge of technical sales logic, offer preparation, order management, and commercial development in the territory.
• Proficient in the main Office tools.
• Familiarity with AS400 or similar management systems is preferred.
• Intermediate written and spoken English skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area and, when necessary, nationally.
