This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and oversee the entire sales process, which includes quoting, negotiating, and finalizing charter trips within the Planet Nine fleet.
• Develop and sustain relationships with brokers, direct clients, and significant industry contacts.
• Assist the Executive Director of Sales with strategic sales initiatives, revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and high-level client relationships.
• Act as a senior point of escalation for intricate client requirements, complaints, and the management of high-value accounts.
• Work collaboratively with Operations, Client Services, and Flight Crew to guarantee smooth trip execution and client satisfaction.
• Lead and participate in the training and development of junior sales team members.
• Investigate charter market trends, competitive dynamics, and client needs; maintain robust industry networking.
• Aid in credit control by monitoring and following up on overdue invoices.
• Fulfill mandatory training and uphold compliance with operational policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Undertake additional tasks or projects as necessary to assist team and organizational objectives.
• Be available outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as operational needs dictate.
• Report directly to the Executive Director of Sales.
• Demonstrated success in private aviation charter sales.
• Established network of brokers and direct clients within the private aviation sector.
• Capability to work autonomously, make assertive decisions, and manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
• Strong negotiation abilities with a proven track record of closing high-value agreements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an executive-level presence.
• Proficient in aviation quoting, CRM, and operational software.
• Meticulous attention to detail alongside strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Comfortable functioning in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with changing priorities.
• Team-oriented approach with a capacity to mentor and uplift colleagues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 5 years of senior-level private aviation charter sales experience.
• Experience acting as a senior partner to sales leadership, including managing upward, influencing across functions, and representing sales both internally and externally.
• Strong preference for knowledge of Part 135 operations and private aviation industry standards.
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and conferences as needed.
• Commission based on performance.
• Option for remote work.
• Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on operational needs.
• Regular domestic and international travel to foster client relationships and support business development.
